About Us

THE ORIGINAL ELITE AMATEUR HOCKEY ORGANIZATION OF MASSACHUSETTS est. 1960

The Greater Boston Junior Bruins Youth Hockey Assoc. is a non - profit 501(c)3 youth hockey organization.

Our History

Since it was first established as the Boston Peewee All-Stars in 1960, The Greater Boston Junior Bruins are one of the most recognized and respected organizations in amateur youth hockey throughout Massachusetts and New England. Throughout the following years, competing in the Massachusetts Select Hockey League, the Junior Bruins have represented the Greater Boston Youth Hockey League and Massachusetts Select Hockey Leage at many Massachusetts State and USA Tournaments while also participating in the Prestigious Quebec international Peewee Tournament

From the beginning, players were selected from the Greater Boston Youth Hockey League to participate on the Junior Bruins teams and as a charter member of the Massachusetts Select League, to the present, the Greater Boston Junior Bruins have always offered players in and around the Greater Boston area an opportunity to play hockey and compete at the highest level.

One of the reasons for our success over the past years and going forward has been our commitment to excellence in coaching and training. Our coaches are dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to help young players develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Competing in the E9/BHL League helps the Greater Boston Junior Bruins continue offering this opportunity. The organization’s expectations are to provide our players with an advanced hockey curriculum through top level competition. The organization also feels this helps to assist and promote our players’ advancements to the “next level”.
